Badminton courts are available in most recreation centres. In the larger recreation centres that are staffed, badminton courts can be hired on a casual basis. These centres generally have nightly sports competitions (e.g. basketball, netball, indoor soccer) during weekdays, so badminton courts are generally only available during the day, or on the weekends. However, there are times when courts are available when the competition season is over.
For the smaller centres that are un-staffed, to hire a court you will need to make an official booking of the facility by signing a contract, make the necessary payments, and collecting the keys. These centres are normally intended for permanent group bookings though they may accept casual bookings upon request.
