What is the attendance like?

E-mail Print PDF

The number of players attending the club varies from week to week. On normal weekdays the club can get quite busy. The quietest sessions tend to be those which land on a public holiday or during the holiday season.

Because we play doubles on all of the four courts, the number of players sitting off at any one time is the total players present minus 16. In most cases, you should not have to sit off more than once in row unless the turnout is extremely high. If there many players waiting, then priority will be given to club members.

Attendance Meter

The attendance meter shows at a glance how busy the club has been over the last two sessions. The solid needle shows the attendance for the last session, whereas the dotted needle is for the session prior to that.
